Oliver Sparing has been actively trading the financial markets since 2011. His professional roots lie in precious metals trading in Hamburg; in 2017 he learned at a London trading floor and found there the structured environment that made his day-trading breakthrough possible. In 2020 he published his book Das komplette Börsengrundwissen („The Complete Guide to Stock Market Fundamentals"), whose four investor types still form part of the foundation of TradeNeon's educational programs today. In 2021 he founded the Sparing Investment Academy, which later evolved into TradeNeon – today The Home for Structured Trading.
At TradeNeon, Oliver leads the methodological development of its trading approaches, with a particular focus on order flow, market structure and fundamental market data. This work has also produced three TradeNeon tools.

Marnie is a co-founder of TradeNeon and leads the brand's strategic development as well as the academy's psychological framework. Her background: communication, coaching, resilience – with training as a Master Emotion Coach, resilience trainer and in methods such as Focusing, EmTrace and Mimic Resonance. Before that, ten years self-employed in event management, marketing and design. At TradeNeon she connects these worlds: brand, communication and the question of what people actually need to make clear decisions in trading.

Christoph Henniger

Christoph is a graduate computer scientist specialised in software engineering and has been self-employed in application development since 2000 – with a strong statistics background from his studies that today feeds directly into the evaluation of trading strategies. He has been actively trading the markets since 2021, with a focus on options and the development of software-supported, semi-automated trading systems. Over twenty years of software development experience, five of them in the trading space.

Dr. Jörg Claren

Jörg's professional roots lie in the natural sciences – his doctorate taught him to systematically analyse and interpret complex data. Before moving into finance he spent more than ten years in leadership roles in industry, most recently as Senior Project Manager and Innovation Black Belt at Clariant. Active in trading since 2023 – trained at TradeNeon across all three disciplines: swing trading, day trading and options trading. Today he works alongside Oliver on the market analysis for Level of Interest, applying his scientific methods – structured data analysis, statistical evaluation, pattern recognition – to the financial markets.

René Nollau

René has been actively trading the markets since 2021 and has worked through various strategies and market regimes in that time. His trading education was built up at, among others, the Sparing Investment Academy – the biggest learning curve, however, came from practical application and the consistent refinement of his own strategies. His focus today is on short-term intraday approaches, with a specialisation in working with prop trading firms and external capital structures. As a part-time trader, he knows exactly what efficient execution under limited time really means.

The idea behind the TradeNeon Academy did not come from a perfect career plan – it came from many years of first-hand experience in trading. Oliver Sparing began his training as a precious metals trader in 2011 and discovered the markets in parallel. Like many beginners, he started with great curiosity – and went through the typical early phase with all its learning hurdles.
Strategies, indicators, setups – information was everywhere. But a clear learning path was missing. Over the years he attended various trainings, trading communities and seminars. A lot of it sounded convincing – but day-to-day it quickly became clear that real decision-making ability in the market is not built that way.
In 2014 Oliver found his first profitability in swing and options trading. But his actual goal was day trading. He spent another three years pursuing that path – until in 2017 he learned at a London trading floor and came into the structured environment that made the day-trading breakthrough possible.
Today Oliver works as a trader, as a software developer of market analysis tools, and as a lecturer on order flow analysis. He streams regularly for international platforms such as Bookmap, ATAS and Vol.land and, together with his team, develops analytical software for traders.

Two different paths, one shared standard
Oliver brings the trading know-how since 2011 – trained at a London trading floor, with over 15 years of market experience. Marnie leads the strategic brand development and the psychological framework of the academy – from her background as a Master Emotion Coach and over ten years as an entrepreneur.
Privately we have been together for 17 years and have been working together from day one. Before TradeNeon, we ran an event and music agency for 10 years – with experience in building structures, leading teams and taking entrepreneurial responsibility. That history still shapes how we build TradeNeon today.

2011
Precious metals training in Hamburg
Oliver starts his training as a precious metals trader and discovers the markets in parallel.
2011–2018
Precious metals trading, family business
Seven years of professional precious metals trading – hands-on market experience with commodities, pricing and real money management.
2011–2014
The swing trading path
First trading steps in parallel to the precious metals training. Numerous courses and communities – Oliver finds his entry point through swing trading and options trading.
2014
Profitable in swing and options trading
After three years of intensive practice, stable results. But Oliver had set himself a bigger goal: day trading.

Driven by the conviction that the profitable day trading path is also possible, Oliver goes through several trainings. Much of it turns out to be poorly founded – but Oliver sticks with his goal.

Published by Verlag Kampenwand. Oliver's reference work is a compass through the stock-market jungle – with four investor and trader types as orientation for your own path in the markets.
2021
Sparing Investment Academy founded
Oliver and Marnie launch online – with courses for ETFs and stock trading as well as swing- and day-trading programs. The broad structure mirrors the four investor types from the book.
2022
First in-house software: Futures Insights
A fundamental analysis tool for swing traders, built on indicators Oliver developed himself – back then still under the name TradeNeon.
2024
Going international: TradeNeon FZCO Dubai
Academy and software become two independent siblings under the TradeNeon FZCO umbrella.
2025
Level of Interest launches
Market analysis tool for day traders – the second software pillar of the TradeNeon suite.
2026
Everything under one roof
Lab of Trades launches at the TradeNeon Summit in Leipzig. With the Strategy Marketplace, subscription-based strategies join the offering – for every path in the markets.
Turning point
Oliver's path shows: profitability is possible – and it comes from structure, not from speed. What he has learned, tested and lived through himself over the years now flows directly into TradeNeon: solid knowledge from real practice, software that takes work off traders' daily lives, and honest guidance instead of marketing promises.

Our programs are not mass-market. We take on only a small number of participants per month – for real exchange, individual feedback and long-term progress. Because only those who understand can decide successfully.
English programs coming 2027
All TradeNeon coachings, courses and the Summit are currently offered in German only. From 2027 onwards we’ll roll them out in English, step by step – built on the same structured, practical and honest approach. The software is already available in English.
